I loved this, I do enjoy a book that I can escape into whilst my life whizzes past my eyes so fast I can’t put a post it note on it. Work days; lunch hours spent sitting on a bench outside (yes, I know in this weather crazy!) wrapped up in my duvet coat (that’s my name for it because it really does feel like I’ve got a duvet wrapped around me) however if it’s too cold or wet it’s my car, yes I lay in my car. Toddler days; when he sleeps in the car and I get time to myself once I’ve been through a drive through McDonalds and get myself a latte (wow I do spend ALOT of time in my car!)
I struggle to sleep at night wondering what William is doing, how he is feeling and if he’s happy. I can hear everyone saying I’m sure he’s fine, but that’s no enough for me, that’s why I’ve been phoning the Unit every morning even though I’m in there every day. The nurses must think I’m a drama queen either that or hormonal, yes I’m definitely hormonal. Every little thing is making me cry, whether it be DIY SOS or when I put the spoon in the bin (yes I did actually do that).
I’m waking every night in the middle of the night and going down stairs and drinking umpteen cups of tea, I’m just like my mum, she does that when she can’t sleep tea settles her which is ironic because caffeine is supposed to make you more alert.
I know I’m going to regret staying up late (I know 10pm isn’t that late, but it’s late for me!) but I’m super excited to see this lot again!
When I finally got around to reading the last of this trilogy, I really did not want to be disturbed and I could have quite easily just sat and read the whole book in one. The trouble is work kind of did get in the way and housework (even more boring)! Although the odd kicking of my boy dancing in my uterus, was a welcome distraction of coarse!
Which is funny (in my head because I’m not that keen on oranges at the moment due to my taste buds, aka Billy Boy!) Yes we have a nickname for him, it started with OB but Billy Boy seems to be more appropriate!
Let’s merge two reviews into one, just for the hell of it! (I’m SUCH a rebel!) The obvious reason is because both books are written by the same author, and I would normally do these separate but I literally finished the first one and couldn’t wait to see what happens so went and bought the next one straight away. (Hey I’m sure I’m not the first and I know I won’t be the last!!!)
I’m beginning to like this writer more and more, firstly she is awesome and secondly she’s super awesome!! Ha ha, but seriously not only is she a writer after previously being a journalist but she’s also a celebrity mother to Buzz and Buddy her 2 adorable boys whom she has with husband McFly band member Tom Fletcher. She’s got a pretty high profile life yet always comes across as down to earth and pretty laid back.
