When I finally got around to reading the last of this trilogy, I really did not want to be disturbed and I could have quite easily just sat and read the whole book in one. The trouble is work kind of did get in the way and housework (even more boring)! Although the odd kicking of my boy dancing in my uterus, was a welcome distraction of coarse!
So here we are on the second one of the story that’s been written about the infamous Billy and Sophie….
Let’s merge two reviews into one, just for the hell of it! (I’m SUCH a rebel!) The obvious reason is because both books are written by the same author, and I would normally do these separate but I literally finished the first one and couldn’t wait to see what happens so went and bought the next one straight away. (Hey I’m sure I’m not the first and I know I won’t be the last!!!)
I’m beginning to like this writer more and more, firstly she is awesome and secondly she’s super awesome!! Ha ha, but seriously not only is she a writer after previously being a journalist but she’s also a celebrity mother to Buzz and Buddy her 2 adorable boys whom she has with husband McFly band member Tom Fletcher. She’s got a pretty high profile life yet always comes across as down to earth and pretty laid back.
Becky Brandon (née Bloomwood) is on a major rescue mission! Hollywood was full of surprises, and now she’s on a road trip to Las Vegas to help her friends and family.
She’s determined to get to the bottom of why her dad has mysteriously disappeared, help her best friend Suze and even bond with Alicia Bitch Long-legs (maybe…).
As Becky discovers just how much her friends and family need help, she comes up with her biggest, boldest, most brilliant plan yet! So can she save the day just when they need her most?
It is a lovely feeling when you pick up a book, remember that familiar smell when you open it to read it. Recently I have been missing this, I have my kindle (aka convenience) which I carry around with me and read at every opportunity I can. This is the first time for ages, that I’ve made the decision that the next book I read will be a book. However, for now I have literally recently finished this…
So hours away from 2016, I thought I’d reminisce of what this year has meant for us (everyone, not just me!)
